22 January 2010 | | Hong Kong Mathematics Society, Sponsoring Member of the HKBU Foundation, and the Department of Mathematics, HKBU jointly set up a free online learning platform specially designed to help senior secondary students keep pace with the new senior secondary curriculum and to increase their interest in mathematics. The platform provides support to secondary students by offering free online tutoring by students of HKBU's Mathematics Department. 1 January 2010 | | Mr. Irons Sze, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, has been appointed as a new member of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations by the Chief Executive starting from January 1, 2010 for a term of two years. Mr. Sze is currently Executive Director of Hang Tung Resources Holding Limited. |
