 | Dr. Victor Fung, Mr. Irons Sze appointed to Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council
1 March 2010 | | Dr. Victor Fung, Chairman of The Fung Hon Chu Foundation and Group Chairman of the Li & Fung Group, has been re-appointed as Chairman of the Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council. The Fung Hon Chu Foundation is Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation. Another member of the HKBU Foundation, Entrepreneur Committee Member Mr. Irons Sze, has been appointed as a new member of the Council. The appointments were made by the Chief Executive with a term of two years starting from March 1, 2010. |

1 March 2010 | | Dr. Chan Yau Hing Robin, GBS, LLD, JP, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, served as keynote speaker at a recent debriefing entitled “The Second Session of the Eighth Congress of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese”. At the Congress convened in Beijing the Central Government highly commended the work of Overseas Chinese for their efforts in soliciting donations and supporting resettlement work in Sichuan. |
