11 March 2010 | Six HKBU Foundation members were ranked on the Forbes 2010 World's Billionaires List and the Forbes Asia 2010 Hong Kong's 40 Richest List. Dr. Lee Shau Kee, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, ranked 22nd on the World's Billionaires List and 2nd on the Hong Kong's 40 Richest List. Five other HKBU Foundation Members also made an appearance on the Hong Kong's 40 Richest List: - Honorary Permanent Presidents Dr. William Fung and Dr. Victor Fung, Li & Fung (1906) Foundation Limited (ranked 9th and 10th respectively)
- Honorary Permanent President Dr. Lo Hong Sui Vincent, GBS, JP (ranked 19th)
- Honorary President Dr. Wu Po Ko Michael (ranked 16th together with Dr. Patrick Wu, JP)
- Honorary President Dr. Stanley Ho, GBS, OBE (ranked 17th)

6 March 2010 | | In the third session of the 11th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, Mr. Luo Fu-he, the Vice-Chairman of CPPCC, recognised the proposal "Beware of the Risk of USA's Hard Landing and Boost the Economy of Mainland China by All Means" by Dr. John Chan, Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation and Honorary Court Member of HKBU. Dr. Chan is a member of the CPPCC National Committee. |
