| Hong Kong Baptist University Founders' Day Reception | | 29 March 2010 | | |  | To celebrate the University's 54th anniversary and to express our appreciation for the support of our donors, The Hong Kong Baptist University Founders' Day Reception was held on 29 March 2010 and was well received by 300 guests, including government officials, donors, Consuls-General and members of the University community.
To express our gratitude to those Honorary Permanent Presidents and Honorary Presidents who have recently made donations to the University, Mr. Wilfred Wong, SBS, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court, and Professor Ng Ching-Fai, President and Vice-Chancellor, presented Foundation Certificates to the 37 donors present at the reception. With the devoted support of members of the public, the HKBU Foundation membership has flourished. As at the end of March 2010, the number of members had risen 80% to 236, a most encouraging achievement. |
