Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants won three top US Awards for its "The Money Secrets of Children" Documentary

In the 19th annual QUESTAR Competition held by MerComm Inc., Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, was awarded "The Gold Award for Non-profit Organizations", "The Grand Award for the Best of Documentaries" and "The Best of Show Award" for "The Money Secrets of Children" a documentary about the "Rich Kid, Poor Kid" programme of the Institute. The judges praised the work for its "excellent energy and pace", and its "strong, clear messaging". The "Rich Kid, Poor Kid" programme represents the accounting profession's expertise in money-related matters and its role in educating the youth of Hong Kong. "The Money Secrets of Children" documentary can be viewed on the Institute's website.

	Dr. Sammy Liu re-appointed Chairman of Associação de Divulgação da Lei Básica de Macau 9 July 2010
	Dr. Sammy C.W. Liu, Member of the Board of Governors cum Honorary Trustee of the HKBU Foundation and Honorary Court Member of HKBU, was re-appointed as Chairman of the Associação de Divulgação da Lei Básica de Macau with effect from 9 July 2010 to 31 March 2013. Dr. Liu is currently the Chairman of Liu's Commerce & Industry Ltd.

Dr. Eric Li and Ms. Cecilia Lee appointed Members of Financial Reporting Review Panel

Dr. Eric K.C. Li, GBS, OBE, JP, Member of the Board of Governors cum Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, and Ms. Cecilia S.W. Lee, Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, were appointed as Convenor-cum-member and Member of the Financial Reporting Review Panel respectively by the Financial Secretary for a period of three years with effect from 16 July 2010. Dr. Li is currently a Senior Partner of Li, Tang, Chen & Co. Ms. Lee is currently a Partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

	Mr. Ivan Wong appointed Executive Director of Hong Kong United Youth Association 6 July 2010
	Mr. Ivan S.K. Wong, Member of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as Executive Director of the Hong Kong United Youth Association for a period of one year with effect from 1 July 2010. Mr. Wong is currently a Director of Kum Shing Group.

	Mr. David Fong appointed Board Member of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation 25 June 2010
	Mr. David M.H. Fong, JP, Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation and Honorary Court Member of HKBU, was appointed as Board Member of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation for a period of two years with effect from 1 July 2010.
