Dr. Tan Siu-lin, President of Luen Thai International Group Limited, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as the Chairman of the 17th Council of Fukien Athletic Club. Mr. Henry Tan, Chief Executive Officer of Luen Thai International Group Limited, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as the Vice-chairman of the 17th Council of Fukien Athletic Club.

Another Foundation member, Honorary Vice-President Mr. Lok Chi-hung was also appointed as the Vice-chairman of the 17th Council of Fukien Athletic Club. Mr. Lok is currently the Chairman of Shun Tat International Holdings Limited.
 

Hong Kong Federation of Women, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, recently held its 9th General Meeting. The new council, composed of 58 members, was formed in the meeting. Mrs. Peggy Lam, GBS, SBS, JP was re-elected as the Chairperson of the 2011-12 Council of Hong Kong Federation of Women.

 

Mr. Joseph Lee, SBS, JP, Chairman of Wofoo Foundation Limited, Vice-Chairman of Board of Governors cum Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed Steering Committee Member of Home Affairs Sub-committee of the Community Care Fund. The appointment is valid up to 31 December 2012.
