Mr. Stanley Chu, Member of the Board of Governors and Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, will be awarded an Honorary Fellowship by The University of Hong Kong on 29 September, in recognition of his contributions to society and  staunch support to the education sector in Hong Kong. Mr. Chu is the Founder and Chairman of the Adsale Group, a pioneer leading China trade promotion company in the Asia-Pacific region. He is currently Honorary Life President of the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Industry Association; Member of the Steering Committee on Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions of HKSAR; and Member of Tourism Strategy Group of HKSAR.

Another member of the HKBU Foundation,  Honorary President Dr. Robin Chan, GBS, JP, will also be awarded an Honorary Fellowship by The University of Hong Kong, in recognition of his longtime support to the education sector in Hong Kong. Dr. Chan is Chairman of Asia Financial Holdings Ltd. and Asia Insurance; Vice-Chairman of the People's Insurance Company of China (Hong Kong) Ltd.; and Director of many companies, including PICC Life Insurance Co. Ltd., K Wah International Holdings Ltd. and Chong Hing Bank Ltd.
