The University recently received a donation of HK$100,000 from Mr. Zhang Da Peng (second from right), Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation and President of Y. Cee Chemicals Ltd., in support of the "Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra Annual Gala Concert 2012". In appreciation of Mr. Zhang's generous support, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU, recently hosted a lunch, during which he presented Mr. Zhang with a memento. HKBU representatives who attended the lunch were Professor Johnny Poon, Head of Department of Music, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.
