The University recently received a generous donation pledge of HK$1.5 million from Dr. the Hon. Tsang Hin Chi, GBM, Chairman of Goldlion Holdings Limited, in support of the Advanced Institute for Contemporary China Studies (ACCS) in conducting research into the development of Hong Kong and its publication of the Hong Kong Blue Book. In recognition of the donor's generosity, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, met with Dr. Tsang on 31 October 2012 and exchange views on the University's development. Professor Victor Sit, Director and Chair Professor of ACCS, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, also attended the meeting.
