 Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association celebrates Lunar New Year 18 February 2014 | Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted a dinner reception to celebrate Lunar New Year at its hall on 18 Feb 2014. Officiating guests included Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association; Mr. Lam Cho Kwong, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Association; Mr. Yiu Yu Hung, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association; Ms. Wang Xiaoling, Deputy Director-General of the Kowloon Sub-office of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, Ms. Betty Ho, JP, District Officer (Yau Tsim Mong); The Hon. Tommy Cheung, SBS, JP, Dr. the Hon Priscilla Leung, SBS, JP and Dr. the Hon Chiang Lai Wan, JP, Members of the Legislative Council; Mr. Chung Kong Mo, JP, Member of the Yau Tsim Mong District Council; Ir Dr. K. K. Wong, SBS, JP, Member of the National Committee of The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and others. Professor Lu Aiping, Dean of Chinese Medicine, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, joined the toasting on behalf of the University. In his speech, Mr. So said the Association has been supportive of the higher education development in Hong Kong.
