Dr. Liu Chak Wan re-appointed as Member of the Executive Council, Macau SAR 11 December 2014
	Dr. Liu Chak Wan, Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, was re-appointed as Member of the Executive Council of the Macau Special Administrative Region and will take the oath of office on 20 December 2014. Dr. Liu is currently Chairman of Liu's Commerce & Industry Ltd.

	Dr. Dennis Ng awarded University Fellowship 8 December 2014
	Dr. Dennis Ng, BBS, MH, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, will be awarded a University Fellowship by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 8 January 2015, in recognition of his significant contributions to the community and the university. Dr. Ng is currently Managing Director of Polaris Jewellery Manufacturer Limited. .

	Ronald Lu & Partners won two prestigious architectural awards 4 December 2014
	Ronald Lu & Partners, led by Dr. Ronald Lu, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, won two prestigious awards in the MIPIM Asia Awards 2014 for its two architectural projects: Best Residential Development Silver Award Best Office and Business Development Bronze Award
