	Professor Jao Tsung-i awarded Lifetime Achievement Award 3 April 2015
	Professor Jao Tsung-i, GBM, a donor of HKBU, was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the "You Bring Charm to the World Awards Ceremony" on 3 April 2015, in recognition of his significant contributions to the research and promotion of Chinese culture. The award was selected by a panel comprising Phoenix TV and more than 10 renowned Chinese media organisations and agencies.

Dr. Joseph Lee and Dr. Eddie Ho participated in a religious symposium

Dr. Joseph Lee, GBS, JP (fifth from right), Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, recently officiated and gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the Public Symposium on the Meaning of Social Responsibility in a Free Society, while Dr. Eddie Ho (fourth from right), Member of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation, chaired the discussion session to facilitate a lively cross-religious dialogue with five speakers. The Symposium was jointly organised by the Department of Religion and Philosophy and the Centre for Sino-Christian Studies of HKBU as well as the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights, Regina Apostolorum University and European University of Rome. It was well attended by 350 participants.

Dr. Lee is currently Chairman of Wofoo Foundation Limited, while Dr. Ho is Chairman of the Deacons Committee of the Kowloon City Baptist Church.

Hong Kong Kwun Tong Industries and Commerce Association Limited and Hong Kong & Overseas Chinese Association of Commerce Limited celebrate Lunar New Year

Hong Kong Kwun Tong Industries and Commerce Association Limited and Hong Kong & Overseas Chinese Association of Commerce Limited hosted a dinner reception at Royal Plaza Hotel on 12 March 2015 to celebrate the Lunar New Year and the 15th Anniversary of the latter Association. Officiating guests included Mr. Yu Man, President of the Associations, and Dr. Liu Hong Fai, JP, Honorary Permanent President of the Associations and Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, attended the dinner on behalf of the University.
