The Entrepreneur Committee is co-chaired by Dr. John Chan and Ir Peter K K Wong, SBS, JP, while the Alumni Committee is chaired by Mr. William Leung, BBS, JP. All committee members have extensive networks in the community and a deep commitment to further building up these networks for the long-term benefit of the University. It was agreed that the fundraising target of HK$155 million set for the University's 55th anniversary in 2011-2012 should be well publicised in the University community. Meanwhile, a definite long-term fundraising target will be worked out in due course to address the needs of the new campus expansion, redevelopment of the old campus, teaching and research.
