The University recently received a generous donation of HK$300,000 from Mr. William Auyang (second from left), Director of the Sabrina Lai-Ming Charitable Foundation Limited, which is designated for the establishment of the "Sabrina Lai-Ming Charitable Foundation Limited Bursary" to finance needy Mainland students, so that they can benefit from Whole Person Education at HKBU.

In recognition of Mr. William Auyang's generosity, an agreement signing ceremony was held on 31 August 2011 (Wednesday) at the University. Mr. Auyang shared his wise counsel regarding the University's development with Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Eddie Ho, Director of Student Affairs; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.  Accompanied by the HKBU representatives, Mr. Auyang visited the Academy of Film and School of Chinese Medicine.
