In recognition of the staunch support from Mr. Anthony Chan, Chairman of Chan Hon Yin Couple Charity Trust, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, and Mr. Tommy Chan, General Manager of Kan Hing Plastic Products Factory Ltd, towards the University over the years, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted a lunch for them and their family at Shiu Pong Hall on 8 November 2012.  HKBU representatives who attended the lunch were Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President and Director of Clinical Division of School of Chinese Medicine; Professor Lu Aiping, Dean of Chinese Medicine; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.  At the lunch reception, the guests shared their wise counsel regarding the development of Chinese medicine with the HKBU representatives.
