	Mr. Philip Kan re-appointed as Non-Executive Director of Urban Renewal Authority 16 November 2012
	Mr. Philip Kan, Member of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation and Vice-President of the HKBU Century Club, was re-appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Authority with effect from 1 December 2011 to 30 November 2014. Alumnus Kan is currently Partner and CEO of a private equity fund.

Dr. David Wong and Dr. Joseph Lee appointed as Members of Commission on Poverty

Dr. David Wong, BBS, JP, Member of the Board of Governors and Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as Chairperson of the Societal Engagement Task Force for the Commission on Poverty.

Dr. Joseph Lee, SBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors and Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, was also appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force for the Commission on Poverty. Their appointment takes effect from 1 December 2012 for a two-year term.

	Mr. Stephen Yau appointed as Non-official Member of Steering Committee on Population Policy 7 November 2012
	Mr. Stephen Yau, BBS, JP, Member of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as one of the first batch of Non-official Members of the Steering Committee on Population Policy for a two-year term with effect from 1 December 2012. Mr. Yau is currently Chief Executive of International Social Service Hong Kong Branch.
