The Foundation records with deepest sorrow the recent passing of Mr. Wong Chung Ying, Director of the HKBU Foundation.

Mr. Wong was one of the founders of  "Man On Hong" which was established in late 1950s and was the sole distributor of Toshiba electrical home appliances in Hong Kong and Macau. He offered keen support to educational and health-care services on the Mainland and in Hong Kong. Mr. Wong made donations in support of the University's advancement and scholarships. The HKBU Foundation conveys its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Wong's family.
