Dr. Gilbert Hung, Chairman of Ideal Group Worldwide Limited and Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, and his colleague Mr. James A. Elms visited the University's Ginseng Laboratory on 9 January 2012. They met with Professor Albert Chan, President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ricky Wong, Associate Dean of Science, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, to have a better understanding of the latest research development of the Laboratory. Dr. Hung and Mr. Elms also paid a visit to the Department of Music and exchanged their views on the promotion of Chinese and Western music with Professor Johnny Poon, Head of the Department, and Dr. Lam Ching Wah, Associate Professor of the Department.
