The University will organise a Fundraising Dinner for the Hong Kong Baptist University Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology (BUJAS) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 October 2013. Professor Jao Tsung-i, GBM, JP, Honorary Permanent Director of the BUJAS, The Hon. Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet Ngor, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration, and Mr. Wang Zhi Min, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, have kindly consented to officiate at the Ceremony. Co-chaired by Dr. Simon Suen, JP and Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, the second meeting of the Organising Committee of the Fundraising Dinner was held on 23 September to report the fundraising progress and discuss related arrangements of the dinner.
