The Hong Kong Kowloon City Industry and Commerce Association, under the Chairmanship of Dr. Leung Lun, MH, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee and Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, recently hosted a dinner in celebration of its members who received honours from the HKSAR Government this year.  Two of them were Dr. Joseph Lee, GBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation; and Ms. Connie Wong, SBS, JP, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee and Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation.  Guests attending the event included Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, SBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors, Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee and Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Ivan Wong, Member of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.
 

Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted a reception to celebrate its 60th Anniversary and 25th Term Inauguration Ceremony on 5 Aug 2013 at its hall in Tsim Sha Tsui. Officiating at the reception were Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association; Mr. Yiu Yu Hung, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the  Association, Mr. Lam Cho Kwong, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Association; Mr. Tsang Tak-sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs; Dr. Stephen Tai, GBS, JP, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC, and others. Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, attended the reception on behalf of the University.
 

Dr. John Chan (second from left), Member of the Board of Governors, Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee and Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, recently celebrated his daughter's wedding. Over 400 guests were invited to attend the wedding banquet.
