The University will organise a Fundraising Dinner for the Hong Kong Baptist University Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 October 2013. It receives 12 sets of fine works of art by Professor Jao Tsung-i, GBM, JP, Honorary Permanent Director of the Academy, for charity auction at the dinner. Co-chaired by Dr. Simon Suen, JP and Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, the first meeting of the Organising Committee of the Fundraising Dinner was held on 15 July to discuss the fundraising strategies and related arrangements of the dinner.
