The University recently received a generous donation of HK$300,000 from Mr. Wade Lam Yee Lung, Chairman & CEO of Grand Tech Group Limited and Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, in support of the University's institutional advancement.

In recognition of the donor's generosity, a cheque presentation ceremony officiated by Mr. Wade Lam, Mr. Wilfred Wong, SBS, JP, Chairman of the HKBU Foundation, and Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, was held on 14 June 2013. Guests attending the ceremony included Dr. John Chan, Chairman of Chaifa Holdings Limited and Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement. Mr. Wilfred Wong hosted a lunch for the guests after the ceremony.
