Dr. Joseph Lee re-appointed Chairman of Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education

Dr. Joseph Lee, SBS, JP, Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, was re-appointed Chairman of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education. The appointment will take effect from 1 April 2013 for a term of two years. He is currently Chairman of Wofoo Foundation Limited.

Dr. Leung Lun, MH, Entrepreneur Committee Member of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as Chairman of the 5th Executive Committee of Hong Kong Kowloon City Industry and Commerce Association Limited. Dr. Leung is currently Chairman of Lung Cheong International Holdings Limited.
Ms. Connie W.C. Wong, JP, Entrepreneur Committee Member of the HKBU Foundation, and Mr. Ivan S.K. Wong, Alumni Committee Member of the HKBU Foundation, were also appointed as Vice-Presidents of the 5th Executive Committee of the Association. Ms. Wong is currently Managing Director of Wong Sun Hing Limited while Mr. Wong is currently Director of the Kum Shing Group.

Mr. Abraham Chan appointed Member of Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene

Mr. Abraham Chan, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as Member of the Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene. The appointment will take effect from 1 April 2013 for a term of two years. He is currently Chairman and CEO of PuraPharm Group of Companies.

Dr. Hung Chao Hong Albert, SBS, JP, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, and Mr. Lok Chi Hung, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, were appointed Vice-Chairmen of the 39th Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Fukien Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Hung is currently President of Goldpoly Asia Limited while Mr. Lok is currently Chairman of Shun Tat International Holdings Limited.
Dr. David Wong, BBS, JP, Member of the Board of Governors and the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was also appointed Vice-Chairman of the 39th Supervisory Board of the Chamber. Dr. Wong is currently Managing Director of United Overseas Investments Limited.
