The University recently received a generous donation of HK$2 million from Dr. Henry Cheung for the establishment of the Professor Martha Cheung Chinese Medicine Research Fund. The donation will support the research projects of the School of Chinese Medicine, with the aim of contributing to the development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong. In recognition of the donor's generosity, a cheque presentation officiated by Dr. Henry Cheung and Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, was held on 18 December 2014. After the ceremony, Professor Chan hosted a dinner for the guests at Shiu Pong Hall.
