Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted the 49th Term Inauguration Ceremony cum Gala Dinner for the Honours Recipients in 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 5 November 2014. Officiating guests included The Hon. Tsang Tak Sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs; The Hon. Matthew Cheung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare; The Hon. Gregory So, GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development; Dr. the Hon. Ko Wing Man, BBS, JP, Secretary for Food and Health; Mr. Lin Wu, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, and others. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, attended the dinner on behalf of the University. |
