Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, recently hosted a lunch in honour of Mr. Gan Chee Eng, President, Greater China Region of Amway (China) Co., Ltd., Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, to express our sincere appreciation for his staunch support to the University and to exchange views on the University's development.

Other guests and HKBU representatives attending the lunch included Mrs. Catherine Gan; Mr. Patrick Hau, Chief Operating Officer, Greater China Region of Amway (China) Co., Ltd., and Mrs. Fanny Hau; Professor Rick Wong, Vice-President (Research and Development); Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Professor Allan Chan, Associate Vice-President and Interim Dean of Business; Professor Chen Zhi, Director of the Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.

Mr. Gan Chee Eng had been awarded the Honorary University Fellowship by HKBU earlier in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society and the University's development.
