Mr. Raymond Kwok (second from left), Director of Eagle Wide Limited, Honorary Member of the Court of HKBU and Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, had been awarded an Honorary University Fellowship by HKBU in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society and the University's development.  The conferment ceremony presided by Mr. Y.K. Cheng, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, and Ir. Dr. So Kwok Sang, Academic Registrar, was held on 9 May 2014.

After the ceremony, Mr. Y.K. Cheng hosted a dinner in honour of Mr. Raymond Kwok. Guests and HKBU representatives attending the ceremony and dinner included Mr. Kwok's family members and friends, Professor Rick Wong, Vice-President (Research and Development), Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary, Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, Rev. Dr. Ip King Tak, Chaplain, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.
