Representatives of Tangshang Group Limited (Shenzhen), Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation and President of the Development Committee of the HKBU Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology (BUJAS), visited the University on 28 February 2014.

The delegation, which was led by Mr. W.W. Chen (sixth from right) and Mr. Ben Chin (fifth from left), respectively Managing Director and Director of the Group, was warmly received by Professor Huang Yu, Associate Vice-President and Dean of Communication, Professor Bian Zhao Xiang, Associate Vice-President and Director of the Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine, Professor Lu Aiping, Dean of Chinese Medicine, Mr. Chen Yimin, Senior Lecturer of the Academy of Film, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement. After the visit, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted a dinner at Shiu Pong Hall for the guests joined by Professor Rick Wong, Vice-President (Research & Development), Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary, and Professor Chen Zhi, Acting Director of BUJAS, at which they explored the feasibility of future collaboration.
