New Territories General Chamber of Commerce hosted the Spring Cocktail Reception at The Mira Hong Kong on 13 February 2014. The reception was well attended by over 1,000 guests including Ir Dr. K. K. Wong, SBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors and Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. David Wong, BBS, JP, Member of the Board of Governors and the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Dennis Ng, BBS, MH, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Yu Pang Chun, SBS, JP, Director and General Manager of Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium Limited, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Robin Chan, GBS, LLD, JP, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation; and Mr. Conrad Lee, Chairman of the Kowloon Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation.  Also, Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, attended the reception on behalf of the University.
 

Mr. Yu Pang Chun, SBS, JP, Director and General Manager of Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium Limited, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, was recently re-elected as Chairman of the Hong Kong Mei Zhou Association. He took the oath of office at the Association's Inauguration Ceremony cum Spring Reception 2014 held on 4 January 2014.
