Exhibition of Rao Zongyi's Artistic Attainments

Professor Jao Tsung-i, GBM, a donor of HKBU, recently held an exhibition of "Rao Zongyi's Artistic Attainments" at the National Museum of China in Beijing and met with Mr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council, on 27 April 2015. Premier Li praised Professor Jao as the pride of the HKSAR for his devotion to the nation's development as well as his success in the fields of academia and art. Ms. Angeline Yiu, daughter of Professor Jao and Director of the Jao Tsung-I Foundation, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, and Dr. Simon Suen, JP, Member of the Board of Governors and Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, accompanied Professor Jao at the meeting. |

Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors and Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was presented with the Directors Of The Year Award 2014 earlier by The Hong Kong Institute of Directors in recognition of his outstanding dedication to corporate governance. Dr. Wong is currently Group Chairman & CEO of the Kum Shing Group. |
