The First Meeting of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation was held on 22 April 2015 to discuss strategies to boost the fundraising efforts of the University. At the meeting, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, shared the recent developments of the University with the members and reported the fundraising results of the Foundation.

Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, Co-Chairman of the Committee, said during Professor Chan's five years of tenure, he has been dedicated to enhancing the academic performance of the University and has contributed significantly to accelerating the fundraising activities of the University to address its long-term development needs. Ir Dr. Wong and all members expressed their gratitude to Professor Chan, who will retire in July, for his remarkable contributions to all aspects of the University.
