| Four distinguished alumni in banking profession shared their valuable experience with students and alumni at the 55th Anniversary Alumni Sharing Forum on 14 March 2011. They were Mr. William Leung, BBS, JP, Treasurer of the Board of Governors, Chairman of the Alumni Committee and Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Dickson Shang, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Cartier Lam and Mr. Ip Kai Ming.
At the Forum, Mr. Leung, currently Executive Director and Head of Personal Banking, Hang Seng Bank Limited, introduced the entry requirements for the banking profession and pointed out that a good working attitude was the most important quality in an employee. Mr. Shang shared the future opportunities and challenges facing the financial industry in Hong Kong, and reminded students to continuously upgrade their personal skills. Mr. Shang is currently Executive Director of HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited.
