| Three HKBU Foundation members and a donor were included in this year's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive Honours List in recognition of their significant contribution to Hong Kong and dedicated public and community service.
Mr. Wong Ting-chung, BBS, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee and Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in recognition of his dedication and commitment to charity and community service.
Mr. Herman Hu Shao-ming, BBS, JP, Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in recognition of his valuable contribution to the promotion and development of sport in Hong Kong.
Dr. Yip Wai-hong, BBS, MH, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in recognition of his valuable contribution to children music education, as well as his dedication in promoting the development of choral and orchestral music.
Mr. David Fong Man-hung, BBS, JP, Honorary Member of the Court, was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in recognition of his meritorious public and community service, particularly his contribution to socio-economic development, education and social services in Hong Kong.
