The Election Meeting cum First Meeting of the Board of Governors 2015-17 of the HKBU Foundation was held on 27 January 2015.

At the Election Meeting, members agreed unanimously that Dr. Wilfred Wong, SBS, JP be the Chairman of the Foundation; Dr. Joseph Lee, GBS, JP, Dr. Ronald Lu and Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP be the Vice-Chairmen; and Mrs. Doreen Chan be the Treasurer.

Presided by Dr. Wilfred Wong, the newly elected Chairman, the First Meeting of the Board of Governors was held to review and exchange views on the Foundation's fundraising strategies and financial status. Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, also shared with the members the latest developments and fundraising achievements of the University.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Wilfred Wong gave a vote of thanks to Professor Albert Chan who would retire in July this year. Members thanked Professor Chan for his tremendous contributions to all aspects of the University and invited him to render his continued support to the University's development in future.
