| Asia One Communications Group established the Asia One Scholarships for students of the School of Communication | | 15 January 2010 | | |  | To support and encourage outstanding HKBU students of the School of Communication, Mr. Peter Lau, Managing Director of Asia One Communications Group, has generously pledged to donate HK$60,000 each year for the award of 3 annual scholarships of HK$20,000 each starting from the 2009/10 academic year. Three outstanding HKBU students majoring in each of the following 3 options of the School of Communication will receive the scholarships in recognition of their academic and non-academic achievements: - Digital Graphic Communication
- Organisational Communication
- Public Relations and Advertising
