In recognition of the substantial support from Mr. and Mrs. Lau Chor Tak, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, and Mr. Frank Lau, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, over the years, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, President and Vice-Chancellor, and Mrs. Mabel Chan hosted a dinner for them and their family members at Shiu Pong Hall on 21 June 2012. HKBU representatives who attended the dinner were Professor Franklin Luk, Vice-President (Academic); Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Rev. Dr. Ip King Tak, Chaplain; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement. The guests shared their wise counsel regarding the University's development with the HKBU representatives at the dinner.
